How to use the PDF watermark tool

Things to know
The watermark is drawn as real text over your existing pages, so the content underneath stays fully intact — nothing is erased or flattened.
A low opacity, around 15 to 25 percent, keeps the page readable while still making the mark obvious. Turn it up for a stronger stamp.
The diagonal layout places one large mark across the centre; the tiled layout repeats the text so it covers the whole page, which is harder to crop out.
It all runs in your browser, so a sensitive document is watermarked on your own machine and never uploaded.

No. The watermark is applied entirely in your browser and the file never leaves your device. Confirm it by going offline after the page loads.
Not at a sensible opacity. Around 20 percent lets the page stay readable while the mark is clearly visible. You control the opacity, so you can make it fainter or stronger.
