How to use the PDF splitter

1. Drop a PDF onto the box or click to choose one. The tool reads how many pages it has.
2. Pick a mode. Every page separately turns each page into its own one-page PDF. Extract a page range pulls out only the pages you name.
3. If you chose a range, type it in — commas for single pages, a hyphen for a run, like 1,4,7-9.
4. Press Split PDF and download each resulting file from the list. Nothing is uploaded at any point.

What you can use it for

Pulling one section out of a long document is the classic use — lifting your own chapter from a shared report, or just pages 3 to 5 of a contract to send on without the rest.

Splitting every page apart is handy when a scanner has saved a whole stack as one file and you need each page as its own document to file, sign or upload separately.

Offices use it to separate a combined PDF back into its parts: the invoice, the annexure and the terms that someone helpfully merged into one before sending.

It is also the quick way to drop the blank back pages or the cover sheet a scanner adds — extract just the range that matters and keep that.

Things to know

Splitting is lossless. Each output page is an exact copy of the original — same text, same images, same quality.

Page numbers are counted from 1, matching what you see in a PDF reader. A range like 2-5 includes both page 2 and page 5.

In "every page separately" mode each page is offered as its own download, so a 10-page PDF gives you ten one-page files rather than one bundle.

The whole thing runs in your browser. A confidential document is split on your own machine and never sent anywhere.
