How to use the PDF rotator

1. Drop your PDF onto the box, or click to choose it.
2. Pick how far to rotate: 90 degrees right, 180 degrees, or 90 degrees left.
3. Choose which pages. Leave the box empty to rotate everything, or list specific pages like 1,3,5-8.
4. Press Rotate PDF and download the corrected file. Nothing is uploaded.

What you can use it for

Fixing a scan is the obvious use — a document fed into the scanner sideways comes out sideways, and one click sets it upright.

Mixed-orientation files are common too: a landscape chart or table sitting in a portrait report can be turned so it reads the right way on screen.

People rotate the odd page that a phone scanner flipped, without having to redo the whole document.

It is also useful before printing, so every page comes out facing the same direction.

Things to know

Rotation is lossless and instant — the tool changes each page's orientation flag rather than re-drawing it, so quality is untouched.

Angles are clockwise: "90 right" turns a page a quarter-turn to the right, "90 left" the other way, and 180 flips it end over end.

If a page already has a rotation set, the new angle is added on top of it, which matches what you see in a PDF reader.

The whole thing runs in your browser, so your document is corrected on your own device and never uploaded.
