Reporting a bug
Bug reports are the most useful messages I get, and a good one saves both of us a round trip. Four things make a report actionable: which tool you were using, what you did, what happened instead of what you expected, and which browser and device you were on.
Sample input helps enormously where it is not sensitive. If a specific image failed to compress or a particular string broke the JSON formatter, that file or string usually reveals the problem in seconds. Never send me anything confidential — a description is fine, and I would rather have a vague report than your client's data.
Requesting a tool
I add tools when the same request arrives several times, and there is one hard constraint: it has to be able to run entirely in a browser. Anything needing a server, an API key or a paid third-party service will not be built here, because it would break the one promise the site makes. Tell me what you are trying to accomplish rather than which tool you think you need — the underlying problem is often solvable with something that already exists.
Corrections
Every tool page carries several hundred words explaining how the tool works and what to watch out for. If something there is wrong, out of date, or misleading, please tell me. Tax rates change, browser support moves, and search engine behaviour shifts. Corrections are made quickly and the page is dated when it is updated.
Privacy and data questions
If you have a question about what this site collects, or you want to exercise a right under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the GDPR or the CCPA, use the same address and mark it clearly. The short answer is that the tools collect nothing, but the full detail is in the privacy policy.
